Clonorchis sinensis Egg
C. sinensis eggs are small, ranging in size from 27 to 35 micrometers by 11 to 20 micrometers. The eggs are oval-shaped with a convex operculum (protective covering or lid-like structure) that rests on visible “shoulders” at the smaller end of the egg. Magnification is 400X.
