Swan-Neck Deformity

Swan neck deformity is characterized by extension at the proximal interphalangeal joint and flexion at the distal interphalangeal joint. Similar findings, in the absence of erosions, along with ulnar deviation can occur in patients with Jaccoud arthropathy associated with systemic lupus erythematosus.
