Chronic Dacryocystitis

Chronic dacryocystitis, often due to longstanding nasolacrimal duct obstruction, can manifest as bulging of the skin over the lacrimal sac. When pressure is applied, the bulge may not be painful, but a pus-like material often comes out of the punctum.
