Chest Radiograph of a Patient with Pulmonary Edema
This radiograph shows bilateral perihilar patchy opacities in a "bat-wing" or "butterfly" pattern consistent with cardiogenic pulmonary edema. In this patient, the costophrenic angles are seen sharply, indicating the absence of significant pleural effusions.
