Coccidioidomycosis: Allergic Reaction
Some people have an allergic reaction to the species of fungus that causes coccidioidomycosis. The reaction can cause joint pain, conjunctivitis, erythema multiforme, or erythema nodosum. This image shows a severe example of erythema multiforme caused by coccidioidomycosis.
