The MSD Manuals’ counterpart in North America, The MSD Manuals, are now the “Award Winning” MSD Manuals websites.
The MSD Manual Professional and Consumer websites received five eHealthcare Leadership Awards during the 19th Annual Healthcare Internet Conference in Orlando, Florida on November 11.
Nearly 1000 entries, representing a broad health care industry spectrum, competed for recognition of their websites and digital communications. Judges applied a multi-point standard of internet excellence to pick winners in 16 industry classifications in 15 different categories. The best overall Internet site category required assessment of more than 40 factors.
The Manuals received the following awards:
- Gold Award: Best Healthcare Content for Professionals
- Finalist: eHealth Organizational Commitment, Physician Site
- Silver Award: Best Site Design, Consumer General Health Site
- Silver Award: Best Overall Internet Site, Physician Site
- Distinction Award: Best Overall Healthcare Site, Consumer
These awards are especially satisfying to the Manuals team, who just launched the two completely rebuilt websites in May following nearly two years of hard work. We’re pleased and honored that The Manuals and MSD have received such recognition by the eHealthcare community.
